    1. Free race entry for the current season will be given to the previous year’s MAC Series champions of the Elite Men, Elite Women and the Cat 1/2/3/4 Master Men 35+ categories provided they continue to race in their respective category.

    2. Current leaders of the Elite Men and Elite Women categories must wear Leader’s Jersey provided by the MAC Series. Failure to do so will result in a $200 fine and/or loss of overall series prize eligibility and/or a deduction of 50 series points. All penalties will be determined by the MAC Series staff on a case-by-case basis as appropriate.

    3. The overall winner of the Cat 2/3/4 Men’s category is not eligible to score points in the Cat 2/3/4 Men’s category for the following year.

    4. If a rider wins 2 races in any non-elite category, they cannot score any additional MAC individual or team points within the same field.  For example, if someone has 2 wins in the CAT 4/5 race, and they continue to race CAT 4/5, they will no longer score any additional individual or team MAC points in that category.  (Non-Elite categories being Cat 4/5 Men, Cat 3/4 Women, Cat 2/3/4 Men, Cat 4/5 U19 Men)

    5. If a rider qualifies for two categories within one race, that rider can receive individual points in each category.  Only the higher point total for that rider will count towards the team scoring.  As an example, a rider could score in two categories in the same race:  Cat 1/2/3/4 Master Men 45+ and Cat 1/2/3/4 Master Men 55+.

    6. The Cyclocross racing age for all age-graded categories will be based upon the rider’s age on December 31st of the following calendar year.  For example: if you are 29 in the year 2013, your Cyclocross racing age is 30.

    7. Individual MAC rankings are based upon the race results from each race.  Race results are posted at each race and are subject to a 15-minute protest period.  It is the rider’s responsibility to have any errors corrected by the race officials during the protest period.
